REMOVAL DIRECTIONS
Since Tear Mender is permanent there is no easy solution to this problem.
However, two products DETACHOL or UNI-SOLVE will loosen the adhesive to a point
that it can be removed. They are non-aerosol, non-explosive adhesive removers that
are used in the Medical Services. They are available online and at many drug stores
and hospital supply companies.
FOR REMOVAL, FOLLOW THESE THREE STEPS: 1. Apply the removal fluid and
saturate fabric to loosen adhesive bond. 2. Immediately wipe the fabric with a
sponge or rag cloth. 3. Repeat this process, continually saturating the fabric to
lift and loosen the adhesive, wiping until completely removed. Both products will
evaporate quickly. NOTE: Having the item Dry Cleaned may assist in removing the
final trace of adhesive.
IN CASE OF SPILLS
Immediately flood area with water. This can keep the curing process from occurring
and leaves a residue that is much easier to clean off.
