TEKNIKUM OY NATURAL RUBBER MATERIALS 164335 and 154335
The Teknikum Oy natural rubber (NR) materials 164335 and 154335,
registered as TRH 16™, are in compliance with the requirements on the
materials coming into contact with foodstuffs of the FDA (Food and Drug
Administration, United States, paragraph 21 CFR 177.2600 (e). The chemical
composition of the rubber materials also conforms to the BfR (Bundesinstitut
für Risikobewertung, Germany) requirements for section XXI category 2,
rubber.
The rubber materials may be used in a short-term contact with various
foodstuffs: dry, liquid, aqueous, acid and alcoholic foods with less than 99 %
ethanol.
The rubber materials 164335 and 154335 are used in the parts and surfaces
getting into the contact with foodstuffs e.g. in the following Teknikum Oy
products:
