Welcome Note of the Symposium Chairs
Dear Colleagues,
interventional cardiology is an ever changing field. Having established modern drug
eluting stents with biocompatibel or bioresorbable surface coating and bioresorbale
scaffolds the field is rapidly moving forward challenging coronary artery disease with
stentless angioplasty.
In the 3rd International Symposium on Drug Coated Balloons we will discuss this field
with most of the leading scientists and the leading clinical investigators in the field from
all over the world. Our aim is establishing a worldwide consensus on indications and
mode of application as well as to stimulate further research.
All are invited for an active part in this field. We are most happy to welcome you. Berlin
will host this event with an open atmosphere and a lively communication tradition.
