OPERATION NOTES
DESCRIPTION
Note 1:
Mount base on metallic airframe member for best heat conduction.
Note 2:
Provide 2 inches of air circulation space all around regulator.
Note 3:
This unit becomes hot in normal operation. Install where casual crew or passenger contact is
not possible.
Note 4:
See A-00310 for adjustment procedure.
Note 5:
Will maintain alternator field voltages within 0.5V of equal when alternators are loaded 25% or
more of full load. Output voltage is determined by regulator set to the higher voltage.
Note 6:
Regulator systems, left and right, are independent of each other except for the parallel
connection. Parallel connection will not cause a failure of one system to disable the good
system.
