The KRIWAN vane anemometer
is of a storm-proof and rainproof design so that it can be
used maintenance-free for all
applications. The anemometer
consists of a three-phase tachogenerator with a built-in three-

phase bridge-connected rectifier. The speed-proportional output voltage can be supplied directly to a measuring instrument
or a recorder, or can be used as
an input voltage for the switching amplifier.
