­ceramic furnace.
But the VARIO 200 ZR can do even
more: its spe­cial­programmes
are perfectly ­designed for the pro­cessing of zirconium oxide
and lithium ­disilicate ceramics.
Attaching dental ceramics onto framework materials with low
thermal conductivity, such as zirconium, carries the risk of crack
formation after cooling. A controlled reduction into the tempe­
rature range below the glass transition temperature of a ceramic
greatly reduces this risk.
The Vario 200 ZR features the new TTC technology, with which
linear, actively controlled cooling is possible, with the indication
of a temperature gradient per minute as a parameter within a
firing programme.
Technical data
In the top range, the electronics compensate for the initially high
temperature loss through activation of the heating. In the second
cooling phase, the interplay between the intelligent positioning
of the lift system, the innovative design of the combustion chamber pot and the monitoring of the current temperature on the firing
tray guarantees the controlled, linear cooling of the ceramics.
