The E3 range has microprocessor-controlled High Frequency
High Density On-Line Performance technology. This
technology enables it to produce a perfect sine wave power
supply and protect connected equipment from power cuts.
This range has been designed, in particular, to protect
professional IT equipment such as network servers and
related hardware.

3
The E range’s most distinguishing feature is its adaptability : it ensures high performance
protection, as well as allowing the user to select the output voltage and appliance
sensitivity.
3
This range was designed to adapt very easily to all types of environments: E UPSs can
be used as independent systems set up vertically or horizontally, according to your
preference, near the hardware they are protecting, but they can also be stored in a 19’’
bay using the rackable UPS conversion kit (optional).
3
Lastly, E UPSs have control panels that are both comprehensive and user-friendly. If the
batteries need to be replaced the user can do it on the spot.


High performance due to high end technology
High Performance On-Line technology was designed to ensure a stable and perfectly regular power supply to
effectively protect electronic devices against peaks and drops in voltage, brief interruptions and total power cuts.
3
The microprocessor built into the E UPSs therefore provides the equipment they are protecting with a totally safe and
perfect sine wave power supply.


Broad power range available: from 750 to 3000 VA
3
750, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 VA E UPSs are available.

3
The E 750, E 1000 and E 3000 models include
3
a battery as standard whereas the E 1500
and 2000 have to be fitted with a battery
pack with a similar design.

Selectable sensitivity and output voltage
3
The user can select the E UPSs’ output voltage (220, 230 or 240 V) as well as its degree of
sensitivity to electrical disruptions (normal voltage, generator, wide range of voltage): so
3
the E range is designed to meet your current needs but also to adapt to possible future
needs.
E3 2000

Adapts to the physical environment and can be configured in a rackable UPS
3
With their highly practical design and adaptability, E UPSs are designed to operate equally well in a horizontal or
vertical position.
3
The E 1500 and 2000 models can even be stacked one on top of another to save space if necessary.
In addition, with the adaptation kits in rackable format (optional), each of the models can easily be converted into a
19’’ UPS, ideal for setting up a 19’’ network bay.

Comprehensive and practical control panel
The E3 UPSs’ front has a control panel made up of indicator lights and programming buttons making it easy
to manage the UPS.

The E UPSs have:
• 4 to 9 emergency IEC sockets on the rear panel
• RJ11/45 inlet and outlet connector technology for the
telephone network, Internet or Ethernet
• a DB9 port and a USB port to communicate with IT hardware
3
And for the E 1500 models or higher:
• a EPO (Emergency Power Off) connector
• as well as an SNMP connector (optional card)
• a connector for additional battery pack

Practical and adaptable battery system
3
If need be, E UPS batteries can be replaced on the spot by the user – a genuine
advantage.
3
The E UPSs’ backup time can be extended to several hours by using additional
3
batteries such as the ½ rack 19’ format for E 1500 and 2000 models or the 19’
3
format for the E 3000 (up to 4 additional packs).

Remote management of the UPS using different communication ports and UPSurf
Control communication software
3
A DB9 port (dry contacts or RS 232 mode) and a USB port enable E UPSs to communicate with the IT server they are
protecting for example.
3
The UPSurf Control driver (supplied as standard) enables E UPSs to be remotely controlled so as to protect the IT systems
from damage caused by power failure.
In the event of an AC power cut,
this software - which includes an
emergency shutdown system, data
protection, and IT system shutdown 3
enables a single E UPS to protect all
the computers of a network.
A SNMP connector is also available on
3
E 1500 models or higher.
Functions and advantages of the UPSurf Control

Data self-protection that can close most applications running and save the related files.

Email service that enables you to manage the UPS state at any time from anywhere.
Automatic search and electronic surveillance of all the UPSs on the local network.
Security: The system administrator’s password blocks any intrusion. The system administrator is the only one
to have complete access; other users have read only access.
UPS start-up and shutdown programming that ensures the best possible protection of your IT system.
UPS programmed self-test, that ensures the best possible protection of your UPS system.
Network interruption, that ensures the best possible protection of your network structure.
Data and events saving (including the mains power supply, UPS and battery charge), that enables the
system administrator to carry out daily maintenance on the UPS system.
