AWP 310 are wire potentiometric position
transducers that turn a linear motion into a
resistance variation. They are made of a precision
rotating potentiometer operated by the winding
and unwinding of a stainless steel wire.
Other stroke lengths, resolutions, cable lengths
and socket connector options are available by
special request.
A special feature is their easy installation which is
greatly simplified compared to other encoder types.
By connecting to a display, PLC or counter They
provide an excellent mechanism to measure the
dimensions on a variety of machine tool,
automation, wood, marble, glassworking machinery
etc.. applications.

1. Do not release the wire suddenly, after pulling.
2. The wire encoder must be mounted vertically in position, not be horizontally.
3. In the event of exposure to liquids, coolants or rain please ensure that the cable is facing away from the
direction of ingress. If needed please use guide rollers as shown below.
