COLD NATURED BIKES
If (4 stroke) ATV, dirt bike, scooter or pocket rocket is cold natured(will not run properly
when first started, especially in cold weather), this can be fixed with a simple adjustment.
1. Turn the air/fuel screw in all the way and then back it out 1/2 turn. (They are set 3
turns out from the factory)
2. Next back out the idle screw until it idles slow enough.
3. If it still doesn’t run smoothly, back out the air/fuel screw 1/8 turn at a time and
readjust the idle speed.
4. Continue until the engine operates smoothly.
