-The Harebell has a very delicate shape. It flowers throughout the summer and
therefore is an important summer long food source for butterflies.
-Come on, look at that beautiful flower. I mean it is almost perfect. I am sure
that you could squeeze a couple Harebells in here or there on your shoreland property.
-Harebells are diminutive in stature. They are lucky if they get to 18 inches in
height. The thing that amazes me about Harebells is that such a small plant with
seemingly such small stems and leaves can produce such a big flower.
-One of the things that is the best selling point for Harebells is that they seemingly
flower for the entire summer.
-Harebells are a non-assuming and subtle plant. If they were people, they would
get along with everybody. They do not take over areas, all they do is compliment the
area and make it better with their presence.
