THE EFFECTS OF ABSCISIC ACID ON PHOSPHOLIPASES C ACTIVITY IN THE MAIZE LEAVES O.M. Iakovenko1, S.V. Kretynin1, Kabachevskaya E.M.2, G.V. Lyakhnovich2, V.P. Kukhar1, I.D. Volotovski2, V.S. The rapid increase of Ins(1,4,5)P3 level in comparison with control accompanied by decreasing of PI(4)P and PI(4,5)P 2 was shown. The activation of phospholipase C duaring early stage of ABA action was concluded. Key words: Zea mays L, phospholipase C, abscisic acid, inositol 1,4,5trisphosphate, phosphatidylinositol 4,5-biphosphate.
