Verifying Common-Phase 2 Switch Position
If you have taken an online test and the voltages didn’t come out right no matter how you connected the voltage probes, it might
be the position of the Common-Phase 2 switch.
Remember that the only time the switch should be in the Phase 2 position is when you are testing potential transformers configured as an open delta on greater than 600 VAC systems. Also, if the switch is on Phase 2, then in the EMAX test selection
menu, the Phase Configuration selection should be Phase-to-Phase.
So for accurate voltage readings, verify your Common-Phase 2 switch position.
