Cell Analogy Examples Demonstrate your knowledge of plant and animal cells by completing an analogy. When choosing a topic for your analogies, keep in mind that even though all the cell parts are individual, they work together as a whole! You may choose either a typical plant or animal cell for your project. Examples include: Describing a cell like a city, School, Factory, Zoo, Sport, House, Store, Country, Government, etc. LET YOUR CREATIVITY SHINE! 1. DNA 7. Lysosomes 1. Cell Membrane 8. Endoplasmic Reticulum 1. Cytoplasm 9. Mitochondria Directions: 1. Nucleus •Project must have a title 1. Large Central Vacuole •Drawing of Analogy •Labels with Function of each organelles 1. Cell Wall •Drawing must include proper organelles •All Projects must Have an explanation component •Must incorporate a cell diagram Parts of the Cell (organelles) to be included in your Analogy: 10. Chloroplast 11. Golgi Bodies 12. Ribosome Cell Analogy Cell Analogy Cell Poster Examples Cell Poster Project 1) Look at the plant cell on page 68 & the animal cell on page 69 in the textbook. 2) Draw and color a plant and an animal cell.
