PH-D® Fungicide Now Available For Additional Crops in California
Arysta LifeScience receives supplemental label for The Golden State
CARY, N.C. (November 5, 2014) – Arysta LifeScience North America recently received a supplemental
label for PH-D® Fungicide in the state of California.
PH-D is a broad-spectrum, Group 19 fungicide. Its unique mode of action makes it an ideal addition to a
rotational program to aid in resistance management as it works by preventing cell wall construction via
chitin inhibition by enzyme interference. PH-D should be applied preventatively, particularly when
climatic conditions exist for disease development.
For control of Alternaria spp and Botrytis spp and suppression of Botryosphaeria spp, the PH-D label in
California now includes the following crops:
Berry and small fruit
Fruiting vegetables
Pome fruits
Root and tuber vegetables
Leaves of root and tuber vegetables
Stone fruits
Tree nuts
Grapes (for Alternaria)
“Arysta LifeScience is proud to bring the science and technology of PH-D Fungicide to California for
use on additional crops,” said Carmen Holding, Marketing Manager, Arysta LifeScience. “Adding more
crops to the label gives California fruit and vegetable growers another tool in their management plans to
help grow strong, healthy trees and plants.”
