P-Wealthy men started the colony. They returned the power to the
king in 1752. He allowed citizens to create an assembly which
only white men were allowed to vote on.

laws. Colonists have very little say in government.

lumbering, sailing, trapping, merchants and craftsmen can find

valleys are ideal for farming; some indentured servants and slaves.

G-This colony had perfect soil for growing tobacco. Hot, steamy,
summers led to mosquitoes with disease. Chesapeake Bay cuts
this colony in half.
S- Slavery was on a large scale in this colony. Catholics came to
this colony to make sure they had a safe place to worship.
