Experimental studies (i.e.: RCTs, quasi-RCTs, controlled before-andafter studies)
OR Observational studies with a parallel control group
Measures outcome with a validated depression outcome scale
AND Primary outcome is measured at baseline and follow-up for
both groups and includes sufficient information to calculate an
effect size

values and standard deviations are not presented for each study group
