Make a large unit circle to fill up a page of graph paper. (Think ahead: what will your scale be on the axes?) Draw in terminal sides for angles of 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 120°, 135°, 150°, 180°, 210°, 225°, 240°, 270°, 300°, 315°, 330°, and 360°. Label each one with the degrees and also with how many radians it represents. For example, 30° = /6 radians. For each angle you have drawn, make it clear what the sine, cosine, and tangent are for that angle. You may use approximate values; for extra credit use exact values! For example, sin(30°) = sin(/6 rad) = 0.5, cos(30°) = cos(/6 rad) = √3/2 ≈ 0.866, tan(30°) = tan(/6 rad) = 1/√3 ≈ 0.577. If you seek exact values, use 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles that you learned from geometry class. Color-code it so that it will be easily readable by you. You may use it as a reference in classwork, homework, and on your next quiz (which will be closed notes except for the reference circle).
