JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure our key exhibitions and events are marketed effectively
KEY DIMENSIONS:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning and Campaign Management
•
Build, guide the creation of, and execute annual show marketing plans in conjunction with Sales and
ED
•
Translate complex concepts and business needs into simple, creative, and impactful scaled
marketing programs
•
Establish and track metrics and campaign analytics
•
Manage the marketing budget for the different shows
•
Identify, with sales, short-term marketing priorities that will advance business objectives, and align
the appropriate team resources to deliver against these goals
•
Manage the creative roadmap and growth strategy with Event Director
•
Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to contribute
•
Provide critical reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Partner Management
•
Manage day to day relationships with relevant media partners and content providers
•
Communicate and engage with exhibitions and visitors
•
Provide critical reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Digital Media
•
Grow the exhibitor and visitor reach through successful digital campaigns
•
Optimize existing online and offline campaigns and drive future performance through thoughtful
research and testing
•
A/B test landing pages, messaging and multiple user experiences
•
Identify, address and resolve ad operations issues that adversely affect campaigns to consistently
increase our operational efficiency
PERSON SPECIFICATION
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

Educated to degree level or equivalent
BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential

Significant marketing experience

Regional experience with running campaigns across multiple markets

Understanding of Consumer marketing, media and digital advertising,

Proficiency crafting creative, inspiring, solution-driven stories that communicate complex concepts simply

Preference for a fast-paced and dynamic environment; track record working across complex cross-functional
teams

Execution, prioritization and problem solving skills that are second to none; resourcefulness.

Attention to detail

Passion for understanding the different sector insights

Left- and right-brain thinker who draws energy from analytical and creative thinking

Desire to be part of a fast-growing team

Project management and prioritization skills with the ability to set goals and execute under tight deadlines

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Hands-on experience of digital channels such as Display, Social, Search, Mobile, Affiliates and SEO

High level of copywriting and collateral production knowledge

Fluency in English required
