DA LAUNCHES COMMUNITY
AWARNESS CAMPAIGN CALLED
CRYSTAL DARKNESS
FRESNO – Fresno County District Attorney Elizabeth A. Egan announced today, Friday, July 18, 2008, that Six Central Valley District Attorney’s have joined together to bring the Crystal Darkness Campaign to our Valley. Law Enforcement is asking citizen volunteers for their help in bringing this hard‐hitting program to every community from Bakersfield to Merced. The Crystal Darkness campaign is a unique media program designed as a joint collaboration between local and regional media, schools, law enforcement, recovery specialists and the business community. The Central Valley District Attorneys are recruiting partners and funding sources to join this effort to fight the deadly drug that is destroying our neighborhoods, crowding our jail, decimating our workforce and tearing our families apart. If you are interested please contact the District Attorney’s office at (559)442‐6980 or by email at [email protected] ###end###
