were nominated for Best New Artist and took home the Grammy

the Indigo Girls’ fans favorite compositions and concert stand outs
including Closer To Fine, Get Out the Map, Galileo, Least
Complicated, Power Of Two, Love of Our Lives and Fill It Up
Again. The Indigo Girls are well-known for their social and
environmental activism. They have worked for nearly two decades
with Honor the Earth, the nonprofit foundation they co-founded,
on issues of environmental justice and have supported innumerable
grassroots organizations. Emily is also co-owner of the acclaimed
Watershed restaurant on Peachtree and co-authored the book, “A
Song to Sing, A Life to Live: Reflections on Music as Spiritual
Practice” with her dad Don Saliers.
Indigo Girls recently completed a new studio album, produced by
Jordan Brooke Hamlin and mixed by Brian Joseph, which was
released on June 2nd. And having wrapped up the mixing and
mastering of that, she is now turning her attention to writing and
recording her first solo record, slated for a 2016 release. The
record will be produced by critically acclaimed violinist Lyris
Hung.
