Forearm Fractures
Because osteoporosis is highly prevalent in patients with these types of
fracture, further fractures can be effectively prevented by life-style
interventions (exercise and smoking cessation) and medications
(bisphosphonates or vitamin D).1 A leaflet with such explanations is now
being tested by Orthopedic teams.
