MATERIALS: 2 sheet protectors
Crayons or colored pencils
Transparent tape
Scissors
DAY 1
1. Color all structures and labels accordingly and cut them out. Store your pieces in a
zip-loc bag.
DAY 2
1. Staple the two sheet protectors together at the top.
2. Tape the cell structures and their labels into position as follows:
A. Fourth Page (bottom page) - Apply the cytoplasm with cell membrane to the
left side of the page—be sure to save room for the cell wall and the “plant cell”/ “animal
cell” labels. ONLY THE CYTOPLASM, CELL MEMBRANE, AND YOUR NAME
LABELS GET TAPED TO THIS PAGE.
B. First Page (Top Page) – Apply the Cell Wall, Vacuole, Chloroplast, and Plant
Cell Title. ONLY THE CELL WALL, VACUOLE, CHLOROPLAST, AND PLANT
CELL LABELS GET TAPED TO THIS PAGE.
C. Second Page- Apply the Lysosomes, and Golgi Bodies, and their labels. The
lysosomes are to be taped directly behind the vacuole, so that the vacuole will cover up
all the lysosomes. Also tape the “Animal Cell” label in the same exact spot as the “Plant
Cell” label, but on this page.
D. Third Page- Apply the Mitochondria and the Nucleus with the Endoplasmic
Reticulum, and their labels.
***ALL STRUCTURES MUST FIT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CELL
WALL AND CELL MEMBRANE. KEEP THE TITLES AND LABELS OUTSIDE
THE CELL WALL.
