Two Commitments - One Order
Note:
This handout illustrates how two commitments can be created in one order for
multiple loans and/or multiple properties.
Use the + button to add additional properties and/or loans as needed.
Enter the Legal Descriptions for each property. Use the drop down to differentiate between multiple
properties.

For multiple loans or multiple policies on separate commitments, use the Title Insurance Premiums
screen to allocate the appropriate loan and/or policy to a second commitment.
In the Commitment – Schedule A screen, there will be 2 commitments in the Commitments/Prelim grid
and the second commitment is already associated to Loan #2.

On the Commitment – Schedule A screen, the second commitment will be created. Highlight the
commitment to work on the attributes of that particular commitment.
At the bottom of the Commitment – Schedule A allocate the highlighted commitment to the appropriate
property.
Build the Commitment – Schedule B1, B2 screen for the first commitment. Then using the dropdown in
the commitment field, switch to the 2nd commitment.

Requirements and Exceptions can be copied from Commitment #1 to Commitment #2. Click on the folder
for Requirements, then select the Import icon from the transaction bar.
Select the Requirements or Exceptions from Commitment #1 to populate the Commitment #2
Requirements section. Click OK.
Click on the folder for Exceptions, then select the Import icon from the transaction bar. Select the
Requirements or Exceptions from Commitment #1 to populate the Commitment #2 Requirements section.
Click OK.

When the Commitment Document is selected, there is an option to print either Commitment #1,
Commitment #2 or both.
Each document will have a separate effective date if needed.
