Theorem 3.7.1
If corresponding angels are equal, then the lines are parallel.
To prove: l ∥ m.
Given:
∠a = ∠b.
T is a transversal.

Statement
Reason
1. ∠a = ∠b.
2. T is a transversal.
3. ∠a = ∠c.
4. ∠b = ∠c.
5. ∴ l ∥ m.
AXIOM AND THEOREM BANK
Quantities which are equal to the same quantity are equal to each other.
If a transversal intersects two lines so that the alternate interior angles are
equal, then the lines are parallel.
