I used 2n2222 transistors and single pad perforated board which I had on hand.
Works well with my degauss coil from a old color TV ` 50 turns, 3 feet/ 1 meter
diameter. As the SPECTRACOM 8165 antenna supply is not very strong I mounted the
preamp inside and use a 12V supply across c1.
