Video Management
• Control-Bit Technologies video system manages various types of video
inputs; analog or digital, originated in both analog & IP cameras, Video
Encoders, ViGuard DVR (Digital Video Recorder), and third-party DVRs
• The network enables connectivity to many video surveillance (analog and
digital) devices and various hardware platforms. It provides the flexibility to
utilize existing equipment together with new equipment, which is saving
costs significantly
• Our built-in VMD (Video Motion Detection) is an integral part of the
software. VMD processing is available from all video sources detailed
before
• VMD events can use as triggers to automatic predefined operations;
activation of relays, recording, popup camera or graphical map, sending
PTZ camera to a certain position (preset) etc.
• Video devices configuration is available from the software and locally to
the device
Video Management Example:
HP Indigo Division - SESAM & ViGuard Configuration
• HP Indigo installation is based of 10 ViGuard DVR units. Each unit is installed at a different
facility. 32 analog video cameras are connected to each unit.
• Video can be viewed (live or recorded) locally at each facility, and recordings are saved to
the local archives
• Video is transferred over the network to SESAM Local Server at the Command & Control
Center at the company main facility. Therefore all cameras can be viewed live or from
archive at the C2 Center
• In addition, 14 anti-burglary panels and 7 fire panels are spread over the different facilities,
totally 5000 different devices are supported; Alarms and Events from these devices arrive to
SESAM Local Server located at the C2 Center at the company headquarters
• Quad Monitor is installed on SESAM Local Server Unit, which enables viewing system
features on separate monitors. Additional workstation is installed at the C2 Center also

Airport Authority – Video and Perimeter Fence
• The airport is surrounded by electronic decorative perimeter fence. Events and alarms
from the fence arrive to the SESAM Server at the C2 Center
• Analog cameras signal is transferred via video encoders which are connected to the local
network at the site. Analog monitors are connected to the video decoders at the C2 Center,
and switching cameras to different monitors is handled by SESAM
• Video-live is transferred as well as switching cameras over the network
• SESAM Server is switching the cameras manually and automatically according to
predefined database definition. It also provides control of PTZ cameras
• SESAM Hot Backup Server is in standby mode. Once SESAM Server is out of order,
SESAM Backup Server will start functioning immediately as a Server
• Additional 3 Workstations are located at different facilities around the airport, receiving
data from the SESAM Server (or Hot Backup Server)

ViGuard – Video Viewing & Recording System
• ViGuard provides a powerful video management and security tool. ViGuard allows the user
to follow simultaneously many events, manually or automatically driven, and to record and
retrieve them for further analysis
• ViGuard allows displaying up to 32 cameras in multiplexed mode. The recording methods
allow background recording continuously or per event (Dry Contact or VMD). Each camera
can be displayed and controlled separately
• ViGuard can be defined as an event-driven system;
automatic popup and recording is performed by
external devices
• Video-live can be captured and viewed by a PC,
while indoor and outdoor VMD (Digital-Video Motion
Detection) processes the video signals for alarms
and the recording of events
Video Archive Viewer
• The Video Archive Viewer provides easy and intuitive access to recorded archives; manual,
scheduled or event driven recordings
• Archives can be view in
multiplex mode; 1, 4, 9 or 16
cameras simultaneously
• Drag & drop camera to the
desired location, then select
date-time range from existing
recordings list
•Selected cameras’ viewing
is date-time synchronized
• Audio and Video recordings
can be viewed simultaneously
