Hotel Mövenpick– Prague* 23rd and 24th of April 2012 Contemporary Orthodontic Treatment of Class I, Class II and Class III Malocclusions Course Program Advances in scientific study and technological development allow new options in treating common orthodontic situations. More than ever, the clinical approach can be customized to each patient’s needs, while it simultaneously enhances clinical efficiency for the doctor. This course will explore the state of the art in two critical aspects of orthodontic treatment: appliance selection and accurate bonding. Appliance Selection This section will explore the concept of Variable Prescription Orthodontics in bracket selection, using straight forward determinations to apply the necessary torque to each individual patient's needs instead of using one set of torques for all cases. This section will also review the clinical considerations of planning and modifying a wire sequence in extraction and non-extraction cases, and the impact of new technology in ligated and self-ligating systems. Accurate Bonding Along with the torque values built into the brackets, the other factor that can influence the accuracy of tooth movement is the placement of the brackets on the teeth. This section will review bracket placement information for management of deep bite and open bite cases, factors to include when deciding on tooth placement, and a process of indirect bonding that has a record of consistent and accurate results. In addition, he teaches courses on office organization and practice management. His orthodontic practice places significant emphasis on interceptive treatment in the management of complex malocclusions, and he continues to do a significant amount of clinical work in the diagnosis and management of patients with disorders of the temporomandibular articulation. * Mozartova 1, Praha 5, Czech Republic The registration fee is 360 EUR with included VAT.
