Body in the
basketball
BY ADAM M
THE SKELETAL SYSTEM

The skeletal system helps protect your heart and vital organs so that
when you get hurt, it protects your organs from getting damaged. It
also gives structure through your body so that you stand tall.
The Muscular system

You use muscles throughout your upper and lower muscular system
in basketball. Playing basketball requires a muscular system that has
enough energy to sustain constant dynamic muscle contractions
throughout the game. Your muscular system must have the
capacity for intense bursts energy in basketball. Playing basketball
also requires having a muscular system that coordinates complex
joint movements with precision.
The Circulatory system

The circulatory system helps in basketball by pumping blood,
oxygen, and nutrients to the various muscles of your body. If the
muscles do not receive these, they will start burning, causing you
pain.
The Respiratory system

When you are running, your respiratory system inhales oxygen and
lets out carbon dioxide. Oxygen allows your muscles to burn energy
and function.
The Nervous system

The nervous system helps you make decisions. When you make a
decision the nervous system sends signals to other parts of your body
and executes your decision.
The Immune system

Your immune system fights off diseases which will put you in better
condition, allowing you to play well in sports. If your immune system
was not working, you would catch a virus and not be able to play
very well.
The Digestive system

When you eat, your digestive system removes the nutrients from the
food and takes it down to the circulatory system where it is taken to
the muscles where the nutrients are absorbed.
