DEFINITION
There aren’t any substances that are
polluting for what they are, but it’s the way
we use them to make them polluting:
pollution is everything that can be harmful
to health and to life or that can change a
lot physical and environmental
characteristics of water, earth and air.
THE TYPE OF POLLUTION
Air pollution
Industrial pollution
Soil pollution
Acoustic pollution
Light pollution
Thermal pollution
Radioactive pollution
Domestic pollution
Architectural pollution
Urban pollution
Agricultural pollution
Water pollution
ACUTE TOXICITY
- Low-toxic
- Moderately
- Super toxic
CHRONIC TOXICITY
- Carcinogenic
- Teratogenic
- Mutagenic
THE CARCINOGENESIS
The carcinogenesis is a process that leads
to the formation of cancer. It can be
caused by chemical, physical or biological
events. Cancer is a group of pathologies
characterized by an uncontrolled growth of
atypical cells. These cells produce a cell
population that can reproduce themselves
quickly, that are very strong and that can
go also in near and far tissues.
TWO TYPES OF CARCINOGENIC
-Direct carcinogenic
- Indirect carcinogenic
THREE PHASES
-INITIATION
-PROMOTION
-PROGRESSION
