MICROBIOLOGY
• Microbiology is a branch of science that deals with microbes,
the microscopic forms of life.
• Microbes are invisible creatures, too small to be seen with the
naked eye. ]
• They can be seen only by magnifying their image with a
microscope.
• They include viruses, bacteria, algae, fungi and protozoa.
• Microbiology deals with the forms , structure , reproduction,
physiology, metabolism and classification of microorganisms.
