2016 Rio Olympics, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medals Pusarla Venkata Sindhu India's star PV Sindhu won the women's singles event Badminton category silver in the Rio Olympics. PV Sindhu is an Indian Badminton player who is represents Indian in International tournaments. She is the first Indian women to enter finals of Rio Olympics 2016. Sakshi Malik Sakshi Malik is an Indian freestyle wrestler. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she won the bronze medal in the 58 kg category, becoming the first Indian female wrestler to win a medal at the Olympics and the fourth female Olympic medalist from the country.
