Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall:

on personal finance and examine basic tax
terminology.
3. Compare and contrast different payment
and savings sources, and evaluate which
product is best in different circumstances.
4. Compare and contrast different types of
consumer credit, and calculate the cost of

5. Compare and contrast buying vs. renting
housing and calculate various costs
associated with each.
6. Analyze home, auto, life, health and
disability insurances and their importance
to financial planning.
7. Analyze the basics of different
investment alternatives, including stocks,
bonds, and mutual funds, and the
importance of all on personal finance
