About Us
Established in 1976, Puretone are the only independent manufacturer of hearing instruments in the UK. A dedicated team of professionals use today’s stateof-the-art sub-miniature technology to skilfully manufacture many types of hearing instruments. Puretone produce an extensive range of hearing instruments
to cater for every criteria, budget and hearing loss. From basic analogue circuits to the top-of-the-range programmable digital systems, we have the solution.
Puretone has been privileged to win many awards over the last 38 years, including Kent Exporter of the Year, Kent Business Personality of the Year (Jay Choudhry) and the
prestigious Queen’s Award for Export Achievement. In 2004 Jay Choudhry was awarded the OBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (for services to the hearing industry and
to business in Kent). Puretone were also highly commended in the Chamber Awards 2004 for their excellent success in export markets, winning Export Business of the Year.
In 2007 Puretone was voted Business of the Year at the Medway Business Awards. 2007 also saw Puretone named Best Accessory Provider for the first time by AIHHP. This
was repeated in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013.

P Series Features
SoundScape technology lets you immerse yourself in the
best available 360º listening experience, mimicking the
organic sound processing of the human ear to produce
sounds that are rich, clear and natural as they can be.
Additionally, when you need it to, it automatically lets you
focus on speech even in noisy surroundings.
The Feedback Manager Plus feature ensures feedback free
hearing when you get close to someone or hold a phone
close to your ear. Feedback Manager Plus targets and
removes feedback, rapidly and precisely, without influencing
the settings of the hearing device.
The Personal Noise Reduction feature automatically
reduces noise depending on where you are. By a smaller
degree when you’re in the comfort of your own home, and
by a much larger degree if you are in a noisy area, such as in
a restaurant with family and friends.

Wireless control lets you manage your hearing devices easily
by adjusting the volume, changing programs or switching
between your TV, radio or computer remotely. Enjoy high
quality crisp stereo sound directly in your ears, without
wearing uncomfortable adapters around your neck. A tiny
phone clip connects you to a Bluetooth® enabled mobile
phone, allowing you to answer or end calls as well as change
the volume at the touch of a button.
The P Series state-of-the-art automatic directionality feature
adjust to the sounds around you so you’ll be able to focus
on speech at all times.
One thousand times thinner than a human hair, NanoCoating is a protective layer that shields every part of the
hearing device. When humidity or sweat come into contact
with the coating, they form beads and just roll right off. NanoCoating ensures maximum protection, fewer repairs, longer
device lifetime and a device that is easier to clean.
