Moeran stands as perhaps the greatest unsung genius of English composition. His music, often lost in the noise and hubbub of the 20th Century, is that of a uniquely beautiful lyricism, capturing feelings and rural landscapes in a way no other composer ever has.” Andrew Rose The Worldwide Moeran Database Championed by Sir Adrian Boult and a good friend of Peter Warlock, Moeran composed a symphony, two concertos and much else of enduring value and importance. The Music Faculty Library has a range of books, CDs, vinyl records, scores and sheet music which comprise a rich resource for anyone rediscovering this neglected composer.
