1. Introduction :
The department offers Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs.
The master program provides a core training in computing and statistics to give
students valued preparation for future professional careers. The course work
includes regression analysis, data mining, financial statistics, experimental design,
and probability theory. The doctoral program focuses on preparing students for
research careers in either applied or theoretical statistics. The course work includes
generalized linear model, time series analysis, empirical processes, large sample
theory.
