What is Blood Pressure?

is the amount
of pressure
your blood is
exerting on
your blood
vessels.

less in the veins.

What is Blood Pressure?
• Blood pressure is always expressed in
terms of two numbers, for example 112/60.
• The first number is a measure of the
pushing blood OUT of the heart.
• The second numbers is a measure of the
pressure when heart FILLS UP
