b. Suprascapular: Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus

2. Lateral Branches (‘LLM’ – ‘Lucy Loves Me’)
a. Lateral Root of Median Nerve: see ‘Medial Root of Median Nerve’ below
b. Lateral Pectoral: Pectoralis Major
c. Musculocutaneous:
i. Muscles of anterior compartment of arm
1. Coracobrachialis
2. Biceps brachii
3. Brachialis
ii. Skin of lateral aspect of forearm
3. Posterior Branches (‘ULTRA’)
a. Upper Subscapular: Superior portion of Subscapularis
b. Lower Subscapular: Inferior portion of Subscapularis
c. Thoracodorsal: Latissimus Dorsi
d. Radial:
i. All muscles of posterior compartment of arm and forearm;
ii. Skin of posterior and inferolateral arm
iii. Posterior forearm
iv. Dorsum of hand lateral to axial line of digit 4
e. Axillary
i. Deltoid
ii. Teres minor
iii. Glenohumeral joint and overlying skin
4. Medial Branches (‘MMMUM’ – “Most Med-school Men Use Morphine”)
a. Medial Pectoral: Pectoralis Minor
b. Medial Cutaneous Nerve of Arm: Skin of medial side of arm
c. Median Cutaneous Nerve of Forearm: Skin of medial side of forearm down to wrist
d. Ulnar
i. Flexor carpi ulnaris and ulnar half of flexor digitorm profundus
ii. Most intrinsic muscles of hand
iii. Skin of hand medial to axial line of digit 4
e. Medial Root of Median Nerve
i. Muscles of anterior forearm (except for flexor carpi ulnaris and ulnar half of flexor
digitorum profundus)
ii. Intrinsic muscles in thenar half of palm
iii. Palmer skin
