B. MEASURE AUX. SUPPLY VOLTAGE & CURRENT:
Terminals
Measured Voltage
Measured Current
18(+) , 28(-)
The limit of supply voltage should be 40 – 265V DC (Table 3 of Buyer’s Guide 1MRS 750 428MBG).
The drain current should be 7mA (Table 3 of Buyer’s Guide 1MRS 750 428-MBG).
* While testing the drain current, Keep the supply at 11(+) & 21(-) 125V DC.
C. PICKUP / DROP OFF VOLTAGE TEST:
Terminals
Pick Up
Volts (V)
Drop Off
Current (mA)
Volts (V)
Current (mA)
11(+) , 21(-)
Drop-off voltage should be < 40V DC (Table 1 of Buyer’s Guide 1MRS 750 428-MBG).
Terminals
Measured Voltage
Measured Current
11(+) , 21(-)
Current through the circuit 11(+) & 21(-) at 125V DC should be 1.5mA
(Table 1 of Buyer’s Guide 1MRS 750 428-MBG).
NOTE:
For testing purpose, the Aux. Supply for the terminal 11, 21 and the Aux. supply for
the terminal 18, 28 must be different.
The Pick-up & Drop off test should be done at the relay terminal 11(+), 21(-).
During the pick-up & drop off test do not disturb the Aux. Supply at terminal 18(+), 28(-).
During drop-off test the voltage should be reduced gradually in steps.
For each step wait 3 Sec to find correct drop off value.

Operate Time (ms)
Record No.:
Sheet: 3 of 3
Substation No :
Reset Time (ms)
Typical operate time 3 Sec (Table 2 of Buyer’s Guide 1MRS 750 428-MBG).
Typical reset time 1 Sec (Table 2 of Buyer’s Guide 1MRS 750 428-MBG).
NOTE:
The timing test should be done at the relay terminal 11(+), 21(-).
During the timing test do not disturb the Aux. Supply at terminal 18(+), 28(-).
For the operating time, the voltage at the terminal should be reduced from 125V DC to 0V DC.
For the resetting time, the voltage at the terminal should be increased from 0V DC to 125V DC.
