Mathematics Curriculum Algebra 1 Course Description: Emphasis in this course is placed upon the structure and SAMS - Standards Alignment and Management System Exit SAMS properties of the real number system, solving and graphing linear and quadratic equations and inequalities, multiplying and factoring polynomials, developing the function concept, and applying algebra to practical problems.
