Sixth Grade mini project: Research a topic on Mesopotamia
You will research and compile facts for your topic. You also will create a simple presentation that lasts 2 – 5
minutes. This could be a poster (like our continent posters), tech project (PowerPoint, Prezi, or PhotoStory), a
performance or essay. The presentation will be filmed!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My topic is: __________________________________________________________
Resources: library/e-library for Research…we will also share good websites like the British Museum.
Facts: You will create Fact cards (10-20) of the interesting things you find.
Bibliography: Pull information from up to three (3) different sources- keep track of your sources…put these on
a fact card. They need to be in the correct format (use easybib.com)
The teacher will also give you an “essential question” that you will need to answer. The essential question may
be changed if you find something that provokes you. Talk to the teacher before changing or modifying your
