Practice constructing these triangles on a separate sheet:
1. (ASA) A side of 7cm, and angles of 450 and 600.
2. (SAS) A scalene triangle with sides of 7cm and 3cm that meet at an angle of 800.
3. (SSS) An equilateral triangle with sides of 5cm.
4. (SSS) A triangle with sides of 8cm, 5cm, and 3cm.
5. (ASA) An Isosceles Triangle: the 2 congruent angles are unknown. The other side is 6cm and the
2 congruent angles are 700.
6. (SAS) An Isosceles Triangle: The two congruent angles are unknown. The other angle is 1000.
The 2 congruent sides are 7cm.
7. (many different possible answers) A right scalene triangle with angles 200 and 700.
8. (many different possible answers) A right isosceles triangle.
9. (many different possible answers) An isosceles triangle with congruent sides of 6cm.
10. (Some calculation required) An Equilateral triangle with a perimeter of 18cm.
11. (Some calculation required) An Isosceles Triangle: The congruent sides are unknown but the
other side is 5cm. The congruent angles are unknown but the other angle is 400.
12. (Some calculation required) An Isosceles Triangle: The area is 15cm2, the height is 5cm, the 2
congruent angles are 600. [ Hint: remember 𝐴
