2015 Bushcare grants FAQ Primary Contact: Call Rachael PH: 9670 3119 email: [email protected] Funding amount: Generally up to $15000 per property unless otherwise agreed (so if a group of landholders band together for a joint local project, they potentially each get up to $15,000) Funding comes from the Australian Government Supported by Wheatbelt NRM You can still apply if you are not registered for GST What we will Fund: Cost of materials only, not labour costs Cost of seedlings, fencing materials, chemicals for weed control in bushland, 1080 baits and traps for feral animals, other conservation activities that will protect or connect remnant vegetation, anywhere in the ARB. Activities are not funded retrospectively Needs to be within the Avon Basin Who can apply? Community groups, schools, individual land managers. Joint applications from neighbours welcome however if successful they will be contracted separately Written permission from owner will be required if you do not own the land you are doing your project on.
