The Solar System consists of the Sun, and everything bound to it by gravity. This includes the
8 planets
There are separate regions in the Solar System. First, there's the Sun, of course. Then there
are the inner terrestrial planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
Then come the outer gas giants: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
Then comes the asteroid belt; although, not all the asteroids are located in this region.

Inner terrestrial
Mercury
- smallest, closest planet from the sun (First plan).
- Average distance is 58 million km. from the sun.
- The side faces at has the temperatures 420 ºC, and shadow side is 173 ºC
Venus
-Second planet from the Sun.
-Average distance is 108 million km. from the sun.
- The temperatures is 460 ºC
-Almost twin of Earth in terms of size and mass
Earth
-Third planet from the Sun.
- Average distance is 150 million km. from the sun.
- only planet there a life can live.

Mars
- Fourth planet from the Sun
- Average distance is 150 million km. from the sun.
- The temperatures is -140 °C in the Martian winter but 20 °C in summer.
- 2 moon; (asteroid-sized)
Outer planet
Jupiter
-Fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet.
- Average distance is 779 million km. from the sun.
- 63 moons; (most moons in the Solar System)
Saturn

- Seventh planet from the Sun.
- Average distance is 2.9 billion km. from the sun.
