It is rather intended to give you a holistic view on suitable system solutions and their setup in an unknown business process environment as well as tech you the needed algorithmic background for doing so than discuss special implementation details with you. I setup this lecture new for this time and added timely knowledge from different sources. That is why there is no text book available, however any book on data warehouses and data mining maybe a good additional source of information. 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th Sat Tue Wed Sat Tue Wed Sat Tue Wed Sat Tue Wed Sat Tue 25-07-08 28-07-08 29-07-08 01-08-08 04-08-08 05-08-08 08-08-08 11-08-08 12-08-08 15-08-08 18-08-08 19-08-08 22-08-08 25-08-08 9- 12am 6- 9pm 6- 9pm 9-12am 6- 9pm 6- 9pm 6-12am 6-9pm 6- 9pm 9-12am 6-9pm 6-9-pm 9-12am 6- 8.30pm Introduction System architectures Operating principles, Data Part 1 Data Part 2 Business Data Representation Data Bases (Overview and Distributed DB) MIDTERM EXAM (oral) Data Mining 1 Data Mining 2 Data Input, RFID, Smartcards Security Case Studies 1 Case Studies 2 and consultations for exam FINAL EXAMINATION (written) Office hours: each day 2h before the lectures, except on Saturday Additional appointments maybe agreed with me.
