Geometry Lesson Calendar for 2012– 2013
Term 1
This is the first part of a one year course in geometry. Topics include geometric relationships, lines, triangles and plane. constructions,
informal and formal proofs(congruent triangles), similar triangles and other figures, and coordinate geometry. Algebra skills are
reviewed in solving geometry problems. The graphing calculator is used in solving problems throughout the course. The course
terminates with the Geometry Regents Examination.
