Susan J. Rehm, MD
Susan J. Rehm, MD, an infectious diseases specialist, is medical director for the
National Foundation for Infectious Diseases. Since 1983, Dr. Rehm has been a
staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, where she serves as
vice chair of the Clinic’s Department of Infectious Disease and Executive
Director of Physician Health.
Dr. Rehm is a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the
American College of Physicians. She is a member of several professional
societies, including the American College of Physician Executives, the
American Society for Microbiology and the American Medical Association.
Since 2002, she has been honored as one of the “Best Doctors in America.” Dr.
Rehm is a member of the faculty at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of
Medicine of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. She has authored
publications encompassing a variety of topics in infectious disease.
Dr. Rehm earned her medical degree with high distinction from the University of
Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and received her
undergraduate degree with high distinction from the University of Nebraska in
Lincoln, Nebraska.
