For the decade electric power meters were constantly developing - from simple and reliable
induction instruments to complicated digital devices capable to read, store and transmit through
communication channels different settings required for electric power consumption.
Accounting systems also had some development stages, each one reflected certain stage of
microelectronics achievements and from one-processor systems, which calculates pulses from
induction meters verification output, to multi-processor network systems with data exchange
through power wires by means of noise-resistant wideband signals.

Distributing power network 220V/380V as data transmission environment is characterized by the
following basic parameters:

High level of noises and quick high-frequency signal fading
Characteristic impedance module in bandwidth from fractions to units and tens of Ohms.
Noises of the unpredictable form and power both wideband and with concentrated spectrum.
Signal unevenness of the frequency characteristic with sharp collapses and peaks.
Unpredictable impedance changing in time and along transmission.

In the base data exchange in the system lies data transmission principle with all known signal
division types application - temporal, frequency and code, which ensures data transmission in
most unfriendly environment.

For high noise-immunity and high data protection level, OFDM-modulation (Orthogonal Frequency
Division Modulation) algorithms are used. OFDM-modulation forms resulting signal by multiplexing
of several wideband signals.

Noise-immunity of the system exceeds in several times noise-immunity of analogues (in
amplitude).
Modern wideband digital technologies are used for data transmission.
Modem module construction allows to build it into different types of meters.
System tuning does not require high qualifications and are reduced to installation of individual
addresses of meters within network, supported by current concentrator.
In case of multi-tariff accounting, meters built-in clock are synchronized from periodically adjusted
clock in concentrator.

Warranty.

Warranty applies to all ‘INCOTEX” products and it is specified in passport. Warranty
period for meters is 6 years.
System servicing is realized within the framework of the agreement between
consumer and mounting company.
Base software for operation with accounting system is delivered and accompanied
free of charge. Software created under technical requirement of the customer is
developed and supported on the commercial basis.
