The Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges serves a large territory encompassing both urban and rural areas west of
the island of Montréal (30 minutes from downtown). An integral part of its community, the Caisse holds assets valued at
over $1.3 billion. Its market is recognized for its tremendous potential for business development. Its team of 245 dedicated
employees across its 12 service centres tends to the needs of its 51,000 members. The Caisse serves 23 municipalities in
the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region, which extends to the Ontario border.
Job duties
Develop and maintain a personalized business relationship with assigned members holding financial assets between $0 and
$100,000
Meet members’ financing needs, particularly with regard to mortgage loans
Advise members on the best strategies for making accumulated capital grow
Remain attentive to members’ needs and provide high quality service
Carry out the analyses required in order to recommend or reject loan applications
Perform prospecting activities, identify new business opportunities, solicit clients and sell products and services

Requirements
Combination A: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field and one year’s experience in personal financial
advisory services
or
Combination B:
Certificate in personal financial planning or any other administration certificate, provided at least three courses
related to three financial planning fields, including finances and taxes, were successfully completed, and two
years’ experience in financial services, including one year in personal finance advisory services
and
Hold a mutual fund representative certificate (licence)

Knowledge of financing and credit management standards and practices as well as techniques used in assessing
and monitoring loan applications

Knowledge of the Desjardins business process (e.g. sales, solicitation, negotiation)
Knowledge of policies, laws and standards related to the products and services offered
Knowledge of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives

35 hours/week, or a flexible schedule including weekends
