Osaka Tokyo Since the first ICKM was held in Singapore in 2004, subsequent conferences have been held in Charlotte, North Carolina, U.S.A. (2005); Greenwich, London, U.K. (2006); Vienna, Austria (2007); Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A. (2008); Hong Kong (2009); Pittsburgh, U.S.A (2010); Johannesburg, South Africa (2012); Montreal, Canada (2013); and Antalya, Turkey (2014). The 11th ICKM will be held in Osaka, Japan, from November 4-6, 2015. Topics Research and innovation is the main driver of economic development and social welfare. Innovative and collaborative knowledge discovery services and technology management facilitate research and provides further impetus for new discoveries. “Cognition and Creativeness of Innovative Knowledge” being the main theme of ICKM2015, the Conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, document and records managers, information and chief knowledge officers, data mining and knowledge discovery specialists, computer engineers, information professionals, librarians and archivists to discuss the issues pertaining to innovation, knowledge discovery, data and text mining techniques, and the management of related information and communication technologies (ICTs).
