Synergistic Activities Curriculum Development: For the past seventeen years, Ms. Van Scotter has developed researchbased curriculum materials in science and technology for use in middle school and high school classrooms Professional Development: For the past twenty years, Ms. Van Scotter has led professional development workshops and developed professional development programs for K-10 grade teachers and other professionals. These programs include awareness and implementation workshops, leadership development workshops, and writing and communication workshops. Teaching: Ms. Van Scotter has three years of teaching experience at the community college level and has developed a constructivist approach to teaching linguistics, anthropology, and computer literacy.
